Meet the Leadership Team
Ryan Barnett, Director
Ryan joined the Sports Tour industry at the age of 20 in 2004. Quickly, he found the combination of travel and dealing with sports people was very much up his street and fast forward over 18 years, he is even more passionate about providing sports teams with unforgettable tour experiences.
Ryan worked with the same company throughout this time, helping develop the portfolio of destinations and events that it ran. He continued to work throughout the Covid 19 outbreak, which was an incredibly challenging time for the whole travel industry. The Covid 19 pandemic allowed Ryan to reflect on his position in working for another company, he decided the time was right to start his own travel company and Fox Sports Travel was born!
John Dix, Director
John is an experienced local businessman who has operated a number of different companies in various sectors. He brings with him financial and commercial knowledge that ensures we operate as efficiently as possible, providing the right product at the right price. Away from work, he has been involved in local rugby for 30 years as a player, committee member, director and more recently youth coach.
John, who operates a very successful transport company, and between Ryan and John, they are determined to create a well regarded and forward thinking sports travel company, with our main focus on delivering an end to end tour product for groups, whilst taking as much hassle away from the lead organiser as possible.
